Asdevelopments offers services that require significant resources, time allocation, and incurred internal costs. Therefore, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis according to the terms outlined below and potentially specific terms mentioned in your individual Service Agreement or project proposal.

3. Service Agreements

All projects or services will typically have a corresponding Service Agreement, Proposal, or Scope of Work document outlining the specific deliverables, timelines, payment schedules, and any specific refund or cancellation terms applicable to that project. Those specific terms will supersede this general policy where applicable.

4. Non-Refundable Services and Costs

The following items are generally non-refundable:

• Project setup fees or initial consultation fees (if applicable and stated).
• Domain name registration fees.
• Third-party service costs incurred on behalf of the client (e.g., stock photos, premium plugins, hosting fees, ad spend).
• Services already rendered and completed according to the agreed scope.
• Work completed and approved by the client during project milestones.
• Time spent on project management, research, and communication.
• Subscription-based services (like ongoing SEO or maintenance) for periods already passed or services already rendered within the current billing cycle.

5. Refunds for Project-Based Services (Web Design, Development, etc.)

• Before Project Commencement: If a refund is requested before any significant work (including research, planning, design mockups) has begun, a full refund of the advance payment may be considered, potentially minus any non-refundable costs already incurred (like domain registration) and a small administrative fee.
• After Project Commencement / During Design Phase: If work has begun (e.g., initial designs/mockups created) but the client decides not to proceed, a partial refund may be considered based on the amount of work completed, calculated at our standard hourly rates or as defined in the Service Agreement. No refund is typically possible if initial designs have been approved.
• During Development Phase: Once the development phase begins based on approved designs, refunds are generally not issued, as significant resources are committed at this stage.
• Client Delays or Non-Cooperation: No refunds will be issued for delays or project incompletion caused by the client's failure to provide necessary content, feedback, approvals, or information in a timely manner.

6. Refunds for Digital Marketing Services (SEO, PPC, Social Media)

Digital marketing services require ongoing effort and results can vary based on numerous factors outside our direct control (e.g., search engine algorithm changes, competitor actions). Therefore:

• Setup fees for marketing campaigns are non-refundable.
• Monthly retainers or service fees are generally non-refundable for the period in which services have already been rendered or initiated.
• Ad spend paid directly to platforms (like Google Ads, Facebook Ads) is non-refundable by Asdevelopments.
• While we strive for the best results, we cannot guarantee specific rankings, traffic numbers, or lead volumes, and refunds will not be issued based solely on performance metrics not being met unless explicitly guaranteed in the Service Agreement (which is rare).

7. Cancellation Policy

Clients may request to cancel a project or service by providing written notice. Cancellation terms and any applicable fees or partial refunds will be determined based on the stage of the project, the work completed, and the terms outlined in the specific Service Agreement. Non-refundable costs incurred up to the cancellation date will be deducted from any potential refund.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please submit a written request via email to contact@asdevelopment.dev within 14 days of payment or project initiation (whichever applies, unless otherwise specified in your Service Agreement). Your request should include:

• Your full name and company name.
• Project or service details.
• Date of payment.
• A clear explanation of the reason for the refund request.
• Any supporting documentation (if applicable).

We will review your request within 7-10 business days and notify you of the outcome.

9. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval notification. Refunds will typically be issued using the original method of payment. Please note that transaction fees charged by payment gateways or banks may be deducted from the refund amount.

10. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve any disagreements amicably. If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us first to discuss the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be handled according to the governing law specified in the Service Agreement or, failing that, the laws applicable in Nigeria.

11. Changes to This Refund Policy

Asdevelopments reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Refund Policy.
